"Lita reflects on her final WWE run, the abrupt ending, and why it still feels unfinished!"
In the case of Lita, it was either a celebration or it was a question mark to be back in WWE with one run.
During a recent interview, the Hall of Famer looked in retrospect at how her last run with the company ended in a sudden and unexpected manner and noted that the manner in which the company ended the run was weird and incomplete.
The final big in-ring appearance of Lita was at WrestleMania 39, when she joined Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus in a lively win over Damage CTRL. The spectacle was not disappointing and the applause was resounding and the occasion seemed to be an apt farewell. In the case of Lita, it appeared to be a logical conclusion to a long hiatus of full-time competition.
The reason why the Ending was sudden to Lita.
WWE took a new turn soon after the wrestlemania. Lita was dismissed due to prolonged storylines via an angle of backstage attack and she did not make it back to television. The fact that she was not the decision, but how very fast everything went down after such a great high point was what struck her. She was one moment celebrating before a full stadium and the next, her run was abruptly terminated without any apparent reason or even a follow up.
Lita stated that she was proud of what she had done, but was disoriented by the abruptness of its conclusion. She said that it was all-encompassing in the ring and half-baked storytelling. That is the opposition that has remained with her. Although she knew that wrestling plans are constantly changing, the suddenness of the ending left the sense that there was no conclusion, but rather abruptness.
Lita clarified that she does not feel bad about WWE even though she has felt so. She talked about the pleasant experience she had working with the current women division and how talented and passionate she felt when she was backstage. The experience of giving the ring to the new generation reminded her the reason she loved wrestling in the first place though her comeback could not last as long as she had anticipated.
Strongly, however, Lita did not eliminate another appearance in the future. She replied that she is physically able and willing to get the right opportunity, given that it will be meaningful. It is not so much of a hurry, no promise, but only openness.
Lita is honest, and this is what fans can relate to. The life of wrestling rarely goes into a straight line even in cases of legends. Her thoughts reveal that there are actual feelings, half-complete thoughts, and narratives that are sometimes terminated without any notice behind the major scenes and the dramatic reactions.
